HOTEL Rules & REGULATIONS

Dear guests,
We are glad to welcome you to at the Phoenix Hotel. Our staff is at your disposal for any help or information you may need during your stay.

To make sure that you will have a pleasant and relaxing stay, please take a few minutes to read the following Hotel Rules and Regulations, whose aim is to ensure peaceful and safe stay for all of our Guests.

General Information

The hotel renders services in accordance with its category and standard. Guests are requested to submit any complaints regarding the quality of services at the reception desk as soon as possible, thus allowing for the hotel's immediate reaction.

Room availability, delivery and return

The customer does not acquire any claim for the availability of a particular room, unless the hotel confirmed the availability of a particular room in writing.

If a Guest has not specified the duration of his/her stay, it is assumed that the room was rented for one night. The Guest should notify the Reception of his/her wish to prolong his/her stay beyond the duration indicated on arrival by 9:00 of the day on which the rental period expires. The Hotel shall grant the Guest’s wish to prolong the stay subject to availability.

Check-in / Check-out

Booked rooms are available to the customer from 14:00 on the day of arrival. The customer has no claim for earlier availability. Guests who arrive before 14:00 can move into their room as early as possible, according to availability.

Upon check-in, hotel Guest is obligated to present to the Reception staff a document with a photograph confirming his/her identity. If the Guest refuses to produce a document making it impossible to determine his/her identity, the Receptionist will have to refuse to issue the keycard to the room and enter into the hotel agreement.

On the agreed day of departure, check-out is at 12:00 at the latest. After that time and upon availability the hotel can charge 50 % of the agreed price of the room for the additional use of the room up until 18:00, and 100 % from 18:00. Possible further claims for compensation for damages by the hotel are reserved. Please return your key-card at the reception upon departure.

Occupancy

In case during check-in there are more guests than the reserved ones without any previous notice, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation or apply extra charges.

The hotel guest cannot hand over a room to third persons, even if the period for which the guest paid has not yet expired.

Payment policy

Guests must settle their bill on departure date before or upon check-out.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the guest’s credit card upon check-in or collect a fee for the entire stay in the form of a cash deposit.

Buffet Breakfast

Breakfast starts at 07.00am until 10.00 am in the “Central” Resto-Bar, at the ground floor of the hotel.

Room service

Room Service starts from 10.00 am until 01.00am. You may give your order from your room, calling 155. (Please note that ordering meals and drinks to be delivered from outside the Hotel is not permitted.)

Free-of-charge services

At the guest's request, the hotel renders the following free-of-charge services:

  • a) Information concerning the guest's stay and travel.
  • b) wake-up call at a time specified.
  • c) Subject to availability of the storage space, the guest can store luggage at the guest's sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause. The hotel may refuse to store luggage at times other than during the guest's stay at the hotel or if the belongings are not of a personal kind.

 

Safety Deposit Box

The hotel is not liable for loss of personal property. Guests are advised to secure their personal belongings and valuables. There is a safety deposit box at your disposal in every room.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping is provided on a daily basis between the hours 9.00 a.m.-3.00 p.m. The actual service time will vary, according to our daily plan. Please direct to our front desk if you wish your room to be cleaned in priority.

Linen and towel change are operated every two days, or more often upon request. Please inform front desk accordingly.

The hotel is obliged to ensure cleaning of the room and performing necessary repairs of equipment during the guest's absence or in their presence is so requested by the guest. In case of any defects which could not be repaired, the hotel shall make every effort to, where possible, change the room or in any other way redress the inconvenience.

Heat & Air Conditioning

When using the air conditioning please make sure that all the balcony doors and windows are closed. Magnetic sensors are connected to the A/C units to prevent cool air from escaping.

Central heating is provided during winter months and is being regulated by the front desk staff.

Car Parking

The Hotel does not own private parking area. Leaving a car at the public car park does not constitute entering into a storage agreement. The Hotel shall not be liable for damage of the car or loss of or damage to items left in it.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed in all rooms.

You may use your private balcony for smoking. The smokers are kindly requested to take all necessary precautions and safety measures in the prevention of fire for their own personal safety.

Pets

Pets are not allowed due to health regulations and hygiene policies.

Environmental Policy

Phoenix Hotel is dedicated to the protection of our planet’s resources and encourage its guests to help by:

  •     Switching off lights when not in use.
  •     Ensuring that taps are always turned off after use.
  •     Avoiding the unnecessary use of towels – just use what you need!

Visitors Policy

The hotel rooms can only be used by persons who are registered as guests. Visitors to the hotel are to be announced to the front desk and are permitted until 10.00pm.

Hotel Equipment

All the hotel equipment is to be handled with care. It is forbidden to remove equipment (towels, covers, pillows, etc) from the hotel’s room.

Responsibility and Liability

Electric kettles and other similar devices which are not a part of the hotel room equipment are not allowed to be used inside the rooms due to the fire safety.

Guests are liable for all damages caused by themselves or to the hotel’s property and its equipment. The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for any damage caused through intention or negligence on the part of the Guest.

Please report any damages immediately at the front desk for prompt repair or replacement.

Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times.

Young children/infants: We have to emphasise that stairs, balconies, traffic in close vicinity etc. are major areas of risks for young children being without parental supervision. We do not accept liability for any accident or injury.

Right of access

In exceptional circumstances and in the absence of guests, the Front Desk staff has the right to enter the room to prevent the occurrence of possible damage or danger. The front desk staff is obliged to notify the guest about the entry into the room at the next encounter.

Management and Front Desk Rights

The front desk staff may refuse to accept guests who grossly violated the rules or regulations during their previous stay by damaging the hotel’s property, or guests' property or by inflicting damage on other guests, hotel employees or other persons staying in the hotel or in other way violated the stay of other guests or the functioning of the hotel. Such guests are obliged to comply with the demands of the hotel’s management immediately, in particular by paying damages for all destruction and vacate the hotel room.

Moderate and controlled use of alcohol in the hotel premises is perfectly acceptable, whereas possession and use of drugs is strictly forbidden (by law) at all times. Management reserves the right to terminate any guest’s stay immediately, without prior notice or refund, in the event of any acts of aggression, violence (verbal or physical), disturbance of other guests, damage to property or any use of alcohol deemed inappropriate or if found under the influence of drugs.

Lost and found

Unclaimed articles, whether valuable or non-valuable, shall be held for 14 days (including the day the item was found) unless otherwise specified. Articles which remain unclaimed after this period shall be discarded. Perishable items will be discarded immediately.

Personal belongings left by guests in the hotel room upon leaving shall be sent to the address indicated by the guest at their expense. If no instructions are left, belongings will be stored by the hotel for 14 days.

The hotel is not obliged to inform guests after leaving about forgotten personal belongings or to send them abroad.

Hazardous Goods

Weapons, explosives, inflammable objects and materials or other dangerous chemicals or goods of hazardous nature are strictly prohibited on hotel’s premises.

The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the Phoenix Hotel, other guests, invitees, visitors, and personnel for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of such rules and instructions.

Confidentiality

All personal information furnished by the guests in relation to their transactions with the hotel shall be held private and confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except to the extent as required by law.

Amendments

The Management reserves the right to alter or amend the above Rules and Regulations without any prior notice.
